I smoked 6 Costco fryers (total purchase weight 30.16 lbs, $.99/lb), it took me 7 hours including cleanup. It yielded 11.93 lbs (39.6%). All but 3 lbs was cooled, sealed and frozen for future meals.

1. Dressed (extra skin removed)

Love these filled smokers/grill posts you could have added a few birds/grate  Looks stellar mate! That is some high quality chicken in those boxes.

Great job. the weight loss is really stunning but I am going to assume that it was without the bones on the last weight check?

Thank you all for the kind compliments. :)

Nice looking birds Gene. Planning ahead, good idea. How will you use the meat?:wsm:

The meat was packed, sealed and frozen into 1-1.5 lb portions. I use it mostly for dinner servings for myself and my 3 kids. I'm a single dad and spend a one long day every 6 weeks smoking high volume, it's an 1-man assembly line. Buying the WSM and a Food Sealer enables this. I was getting tired of serving processed chicken nuggets (and my kids were complaining too). I've smoked 2 full briskets and 35 lbs of butt separately in the past. It takes a bit longer portioning, packing the meat but the prep and the pita cleanup is the same.

Yep, boneless and skinless. The purchase weight included some fluid along with the neck bone & gizzards. So the actual yield is a bit higher.

That's a lot of pulled chicken! I'm sure you were munching on some while you were pulling.

Of course!! I had to taste test the meat. The skin came out a lot crunchier than I expected so I sampled that too.

Great looking chicken!! You can never had too much leftover chicken around, so many things you can make with it!
