Geir-- No Photoshop. The lighting for all was ambient kitchen light. Shot with my phone (a Droid X).
Wolgast/Geir-- Can you get this in Scandanavia? Find out. Arepas are a breeze to make and are great for all sorts of sandwiches, warm or melted fillings, etc. Particularly good with barbecue or for other items, like greens, where the toasted corn flavor really works well.
Wow, Kevin. That brisket looked like it turned out great. And then the follow-up chili. And top it off with the arepas?? Outstanding! Thanks for posting.

There are about 500 mexicans living in Norway at the moment, and the "mexican" food we can buy are different taco- spices as well as tortillias and spices from Santa Maria. As far as I have found out, there is no mexican store here, but someone mentioned in a forum that turkish stores could have the flour. There are no turkish store in the small town where I live, but i'll ask my daughter, she's living in Oslo. Thanks for the help.
