last football game of the season...

Jim Lampe

TVWBB 1-Star Olympian
...was a dud, but we cooked anyway.
started with beef slices in the oven / dehydrator...

it turned out pretty good, everyone at work ate it up.
The weather wasn't too bad here Sunday,
so I took a television outside to watch some of the 72 hour pre-game show...
Here's a nice guy from Wisconsin giving some **** to Archie's kid after a sack...

I like that ▲
reminiscing of the Naw'lins game years ago 'gainst the Pat's...
so I had a Big Easy Brew...

then I got some ribs on the 26"OTG

IMG_7495.JPG

these were Chocolate Chili Ribs from a recipe in one of Steven Raichlen's CBs

IMG_7496.JPG

I cut these spares Saint Louie style then seasoned the trimmings with Penzey's Jerk Pork Seasoning

IMG_7497.JPG

...and I used apple wood for smoke flavour.

while those were cookin', and while the 96 hour pre-game show was still in it's 11th hour,
I hung a few of my favourite framed momentos in my back room where this computer is located...

dinner was served just as the ball was hiked into the end zone.

Great Pictures! I went to the rose bowl game when Wisconsin played Stanford in 2013

Never mind all of the awesome sports memorabilia and great looking food. You bowled a PERFECT GAME?!?!?! Impressive Mr. Lampe!

That's what I'm saying….300 is an elite club! Hopefully the rest rest of that stuff is hung in the garage! The PERFECT GAME should go over the mantel!

Super lookin' grub, Jim!

Love the wall of mementos!! Congrats on the perfect 300 game. Very impressive.

We all previously were aware of your cooking talents, but at least I was unaware of your bowling skills! That is fantastic!

I was able to dig up this old footage for the nonbelievers - Bravo Jim- That's a pretty elite club....
