Killer Pork Chops!

Got some pork chops on sale for 1.43/lbs these were pretty well cut chops, about 1.25in thick. Seasoned with s&p, garlic powder, rosemary, and a little chili powder. Let that set in the fridge for about an hour.

After the sear I put them on indirect to finish with a small chunk of pecan for smoke.

These were pretty much the best chops I've ever had! I'm a big fan of my new Craycort ci grill grate!

Holy Smoke!

I just ate half of my p-leather iPad cover just to get a closer look. I believe I'd take a thick cut chop like that over any cut of beef... And I love me some beef.

Your post title is spot on... Those are truly KILLER PORK CHOPS!!
 
The only thing that I see as wrong, is that your plates are too small to hold a MULTIPLE CHOP serving.

Other than that, everything looks perfect!!
 
Those pork chops ARE killer! Usually, if I get my hands on any thick chops such as these, I typically cut a pocket into them and stuff 'em with all kinds of good stuff. But, I see you did just fine with your seasonings and cook!
