Kielbassa on the grill

Sometimes, we can get great satisfaction out of grilling something quite ordinary. I and my wife, Marilyn, were shopping at the "local" Costco. They had their usual treats available for tasting. One of the items so ably presented by a nice lady was Kielbossa (Polish Sausage). It was absolutely EXCELLENT. We brought some home and this evening I grilled a couple for our supper. While I was grilling, my wife was oven roasting sweet peppers, onion, a couple of Jaleno peppers, and a sliced Zucchini. She also oven roasted fingerling potatoes. The vegetables were tossed in olive oil and roasted at 400 degrees.

She had picked up a package of Torta Rolls (Usually, torta bread is chosen based on texture and how well it will hold up against juicy meats and hot sauces. This from "Ehow Food"...)

At any rate, Mexican Torta Rolls work extremely well for hearty sandwiches. We piled the rolls with Kielbossa, onions, sweet peppers, and Jalopenas and used a botique brown mustard as a condiment. Um-m-m-h-h, GOOD!! It may have been "ordinary" fare but the results were NOT...

Nice looking meal! I bet you could have gotten away with 1/2 the coals! That's a funny colored beer(which I think is required with brats"

Looks tasty anyhow!
