Just when you think you've seen it all...


 
The grill I bought a few years ago weighs about 450 lbs, and fully assembled, will not fit under the cap on my truck. I'd dithered about driving down to MO where they're manufactured, until the local dealer got enough orders for a full trailer load. However, knowing that I'd either have take pieces off the grill, or take the cap off my truck, I just elected to hook up to my 18' 10k lbs. flatbed trailer. When I pulled into the lot, the staff just about doubled over laughing. They understood all too well. Apparently, people show up with Honda Pilots and Toyota RAV4s, and think they'll haul it home without any problem.
