Pretty self-explanatory.

That brings back memories. My grandpa always had a few rabbit beagles (sometimes more than a few) and I had the privilege of going with him to run the dogs a few times. There is nothing quite like the sound of the beagles when they first jump the rabbit and the chase is on. Vienna sausages were practically a staple food in Western NC back in those days.I used to run rabbit dogs with my wife's grandpa. We would try to tun then dogs on average 3 times a week. After the dogs would get on a rabbit, he and I would walk back to his truck where he had a small cooler; sardines and saltines for him, Vienna sausages and saltines for me. We would sit and talk and (and eat our snacks) for about 90 minutes, and then go call the dogs off the rabbit. We never carried a gun, it wasn't about killing. It was just a way for he and I to get away for a few hours doing what we both loved to do.
I still get a can of Viennas from time to time..
