Juicy Lucy’s, Onion Rings and Deep Fried Portabellas

I haven’t posted any cooks since last week as we were in Florida to see our first grandchild, a
darling baby girl. Mallory Jayde was born March 27th and weighed in at 9 pounds and 21 inches
tall. Here is my wife and proud grandmother Beverly.

Juicy Lucy’s were filled with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, onion, crumpled pepper bacon and
cubed portabellas, seasoned with McCormick’s Montreal Steak, and then put onto the Performer,
using my grill grates. Little burger was for sampling!

Extremely filling and delicious Tuesday night dinner.

Thanks for looking!

Amazing how a nice bit of spring brings out the old stand bys: stuffed burgers! I'll bet that little G-daughter will be helpin you cook em up in no time!

Nice. I've been working on JLs for a long time. My biggest problem is liking rare meat. The cheese doesn't melt. I've been doing a burger from DDD. I put bacon in the bottom of a ring mould. Cheese goes on top of that and then the beef. Next time I do it, I'll post pictures.

Mike...Congrats to you and your wife on a beautiful healthy granddaughter.

Nice cook too. ;)

Jala´n´cheese filling is a great one. Could you even bite over that badboy? Or was it a fork and knife dinner? Awsome looking burger non the less!

Congrats on the new granddaughter Mike! The dinner looks great... the burgers look awesome and the onion rings are off the chart! Very nice!

Congrats to the family for the new addition, great looking juicy Lucy's. Looks like it was a great weekend all the way around. Those burgers look scrum dilly um chew us, :)
