Jalapeno cheddar/ghost pepper salsa burgers and bacon-wrapped jalapenos!

I enjoyed the hell out of these burgers I grilled up on Saturday. My little lady's family came in to visit, and her dad came up with this idea for burgers. We stuffed them with jalapeno cheddar cheese and added a dab of ghost pepper salsa spread out inside of them before we wrapped them up and made patties. Definitely worth doing again the future!

As for the jalapenos, we smoked them on Sunday. We used more of the jalapeno cheddar cheese and stuffed it in there along with ground pork sausage. We smoked the jalapenos longer than usual to ensure the pork sausage would be done. This was all her dad's idea as well, and man it was good. The reason we get along so well is because we are food fiends. We appreciate great food, and I appreciate his ideas!
