Is this Alfresco 30" Grill worth it for a flip?

Keep the info of the guy you picked it up from. If you can't sell it otherwise, approach him with some kind of trade-in special. I suspect that he might love this old grill back if it looked and worked as new - that might have been his plan all along. He probably grabbed it used and knows what its worth.

The igniters presented another fun challenge as replacements for the 3 were $39 each and the sparker system was a battery push button to a remote 4 place expander that cost about $160 if you can find it. So I got creative and purchased these for a total of $20. They mounted great and were easy to bend to the perfect spot. I think these would even work on a Genesis without the collection cup if bent to spark against the burner tube.

I wish you'd actually put the links in there. Those look like some nice possible solutions for my Wolf

Nice grill and nice shop floor
Thanks - Almost every time someone comes over to buy something out of our garage we get compliments on it. Probably the most complimented thing about our house;-) The only bad thing about an epoxy flood is water sits on it instead of soaking in so I keep an old mop around.

Poking around on your links for the ignitor electrode.....
This looks like it would be almost perfect for a X000 or A/B/C grill ---

Looks like you could feed it right in where the gas catcher box is - may have to drill it out a bit.
Of course you would have to rig a ground to the burner tube --- would be easy enough with a hose clamp.
Strange that there isn't a second wire from the sparker.... but it looks like it should just plug into the OEM one.

This should probably be posted somewhere else where it would get more attention...

That is exactly what I was thinking. May not even need the ground, or ground anywhere else that is metal. The hardest part if using the original piezo button is connecting to the round bottom contact as the electrode comes with a small spade to fit electronic igniters.
