G'Afternoon Amador! and Welcome to the forum :george:

you're converting your grill to indirect smoker... your Weber kettle?
and what "connections" are you planning on using aluminum tape to cover??

Welcome to the forum, congrats on your Marine

I use heavy duty aluminum foil to wrap my burners in my gas BBQ, when I want to do indirect cooking in it. It takes 3 to four wraps and then I use thin wire to twist the ends so that the aluminum doesn't unwrap it's self. My concern if using tape is....would it gunk up the jets?
