There are some interesting things on that Jr.

The extra button by the igniter that appears to go directly to the side of the manifold. I thought maybe that was added later but it is shown on picture on the owners manual. Maybe an emergency shut off or fuel prime if that's even a thing for LP. The tank hanger wheels are much lower. The slats on the bottom are running the long way but they are skinny slats instead of wide. The control panel is different.......like?
That piece still boggles my mind.I thought I had seen that piece included with a grill that Cody had posted pictures of. I asked Paul about it, but he didn't recognize the part in question at the time anyway. Edit: I went back and found the picture of the piece in question and it doesn't look to close to the one you found.View attachment 122997
Me too. Did you ever attempt to see if it could be used as a tank holder like the one on the JR. Josh posted? That piece still boggles my mind.
I put it everywhere I could think of. But nowhere I put it, could I make it make sense.Me too. Did you ever attempt to see if it could be used as a tank holder like the one on the JR. Josh posted?
We could probably have a full thread dedicated to the junk and treasures we find in old grills.Sometimes you just get pieces of garage junk when you pick up these old grills.
Like the fork buried in the grease and crud filled large drip tray? I remember that one! If it could only talk and tell its storyLOL. That is a good idea Josh. I sincerely wish I had saved everything that came with the grills I have picked up that were not original or direct replacement parts.
He had a buddy also in my 50+ year old Charmglow. I don't think the owner has used it for a while.OK JOsh. Contest over. You win. Hand out the trophies now.
Definitely NOT a nice surpriseMy best find was a wasp nest… I didn’t discover it until I got back in the van after I loaded it and drove to work. When I got in van to go home there were a few wasps swarming around inside.
That taught me to do a more thorough look over before loading up. Still shocked I didn’t get stung loading or unloading.
Youch! My mouse still had fur! I am with Bruce; you win hands downView attachment 123012 Oh yeah? Lol
My Vieluxe had an abandoned mouse nest in the smoker box and an active wasp nest, too.My best find was a wasp nest… I didn’t discover it until I got back in the van after I loaded it and drove to work. When I got in van to go home there were a few wasps swarming around inside.
