The Genesis looks to be a mid 80s Genesis 4 or 5. Look at that old side burner. That FT400 the slide tops are in really sorry shape. Very sad on that

Did they have the glass cabinet grills in the 80's? I would love to talk to the guy and ask. I wonder if it may have started it's life as an NG grill?

I don't think the glass cabinet ones started until around 1990. That one certainly has an interesting assortment of Weber parts. Some clearly taken from an '87-'88 Genesis.

My uncle had one he bought when he bought his retirement house in IIRC 87/88. He bought what was either a Genesis 4 or 5.
