Not much of a test cook but I did a frozen pizza real quick and it worked as It should LOL. Applewood chips in the smoke box and IR burner to crisp the top.

They are, and they clean up faster than the stamped stainless ones do. Like anything else though, I have seen some 9930's that didn't survive their owner's previous abuse too well.

I don't see myself ever wearing out a set but I have plenty of backups if it ever happens. I can't imagine what you would have to do to them to ruin a set.

I wouldn't think a normal person would be able to ruin them under normal circumstances, I've seen it though. Hell, I've got a 25 yr. old set of stamped stainless steel grates that are still in perfect condition, yet I've picked up a few grills where the same grates were trashed. Go figure.

For you Josh. Actually ANY of you craftsmen. Truly if anyone nearby feels like they'd like to take on a rehab on the Wolf for me let me know. Right now I'd busy with my business, and family matters and with my ADHD kicking I think I have more $$ than patience
My wife and my kids are constantly on my a$$ about my ADHD. I know it's there. But I have a REALLY hard time controlling things so I need smaller "quicker" projects i.e. mixers, coffee grinders or my brain short circuits

Yeah it's crazy to see how on one Grill will have certain parts that are perfect and others that are completely disintegrated and on the next Grill will be the opposite. Different environments and the way they are used I suppose makes a big difference.

Unbelievable...I like those very much as well. How can it be FREE?!!!! At least I have owned and cooked on one quite a bit. Still wishing for a 2nd gen Summit. @Josh Dekubber it is great to see you giving that 2nd gen Summit you picked up a fair chance. You got the nice one with all the bells and whistles.
