I had picked up a SilverA for a parts/frame grill that had the bottom melted completely out --- my best guess is that it was a horrific grease fire. It would be a scary predicament if there was a propane tank inboard in a cabinet...

The slide bar may be able to be fabricated. Is the table the same as the shelf? Is the under-table bushing plate the same as on the left? Thanks

The only thing that is different is the slide bar. Right side slide bars will be marked with an R and Left side slide bars will be marked with an L. You could easily fabricate one or modify a Left side slide bar.

Easier yet you could use the other style with the rod that fits in this back leg clip when down and in front leg frame hole when up. This style is all interchangeable from left flip table to right side flip table.

Thanks Josh, it looks like with a similar piece of flat iron I could fabricate the slide bar by cutting a notch in the correct place and drilling holes for the frame connection.

Weber Folks,

I installed a right hand flip table on my Genesis 2000 by using the extra left side table I had from the donor 1000 LX. I flipped the LX left bracket upside down (allowing the notch to be in the correct place), and added a couple spacers so when opening/closing the table the end of the rod would not contact the propane bracket. Used Tri-Flo and both side tables work great. Bit of a hack job though... in the picture you can see that when the right table hangs the spacer has kicked the bottom of the table a little to the right. Not super noticeable and if anyone says anything...

Thanks Dan! I think my dream grill for home use will be right and left shelves with retracts but no left side burner.

You can certainly do that. Another option is to plumb the side burner with a quick connect like one used on the Genesis E330 and then you could lift out the side burner and store it in the garage unless you need it. Best of both worlds. More space AND a side burner on demand.

btw, Here is a future project buried in my garage to do exactly that. It's a combination of Genesis 3 parts and a cart from a Platinum 3200 that had both left and right side tables.

The real thing for me is that my first Weber was a green silver a. I still have it and this would really look nice next to it. But that brings me back to not wanting to be stabbed my my wife that I mentioned in an earlier post lol
