Even betterYah, mine is NG, but that worked out perfect for me.
On eBay you can get a natural gas or propane manifold plus valves for the swap for under $100 for the two burnerYah, mine is NG, but that worked out perfect for me.
Cool, thanks for the explanation. None of those things are really apparent just from looking at pictures of them.Well there are some unique features for the top of the line LX. Instead of a separate sear burner all of the burners have high+sear. The lid is a bit taller only on LX model. The SS is higher quality. The knobs are back lit. The ignition system is an infinity ignition system built in separate for each burner. The left side table folds down. I don't think I'm forgetting anything but I might be. They work very well for me. That said I can sear a perfect Steak on pretty much any Weber.
Thanks. Sitting in the waiting room now.Not a bad idea, but what did you do with the new whitewalls I gave you? P.S I hope your kid is ok.
Do you think you can take that KF label off and polish the area so it looks like there was never a label? My guess is it is drilled like the emblem.
It would be interesting to find out.Do you think you can take that KF label off and polish the area so it looks like there was never a label? My guess is it is drilled like the emblem.
Thanks Bruce.Val, that AF label is part of the porcelain finish. You would not be able to remove it without trashing the lid.
I think so. Happy to save the ones that I canThat is a score.
Will this be a flip? Or a full on JD style frame off nut to bolt restoration?I think so. Happy to save the ones that I can
Tough to say. I have several similar to this one. I plan on doing a couple more high level 1000s and Jr's for myself. I already have my forever green LX so most likely this one will be sold or donated after I finish my grills for myself. I'll definitely make it as nice as I can regardless of what I do with it.Will this be a flip? Or a full on JD style frame off nut to bolt restoration?
