I will just leave this here

Obviously at $170 I won’t be buying this (I will be keeping an eye on it though), but she looks like a real nice survivor. Look at the handle! Cool lighting for the pics, too.

Personally I would much rather find one that's a little nicer and pay a little bit of money for it. Instead of one that is for free or cheep but needs everything.

Here you go Josh. This was originally posted at $500, but after Mark offered $400 she upped the price to $650. That was about a month ago. LOL

And now it's $170?
I think $170 is a pretty good deal but with that said this is the most common configuration that I've seen of the 1000 with the red lid base model with the lower wire rack and basic flip table hardware. I already have several in this configuration. If it was a Platinum series in this condition I would be willing to pay.

I look at that one and think that a person could pick that up for five or six hundred. Do the highest level of just clean up/Detail and it would look showroom fresh and probably sell for at least $1000. I honestly think there's a good opportunity there. I would try to pick it up for $500. Clean and polish every square inch and list It for $1500.

I would never try to sell one of those in my market but if I could find a brand new unused one I would absolutely. I think there is a huge missed opportunity there.

Wire me the $500 and I will do the clean up on it, and you can keep any profits! :D

I wonder now if someone offered $400 if they might take it. I have to imagine they haven't received any real interest at $650. It is a gorgeous specimen though.

Fair enough. I can't say for sure that I could either in my market but I would definitely try and maybe have to hold on to it for a while worst case scenario. I would definitely bet on it though and go for it. I would throw down $500 without hesitation.

The type of buyer that's going to pay real money for something like this is going to want it to be unused, spotless and showroom fresh looking other wise forget it. As it sits I'm not surprised it hasn't sold to that type of buyer but I'm surprised that someone hasn't picked it up polished it up and doubled their money.

The market around us wouldn’t support it. I’d be skeptical paying $300 for it and making much off of it. I’d pay $400 if I were to keep it. I don’t think I could sell a brand new unused current model Genesis for more than 700

That is a REALLY nice grill. Temp gauge missing. One oddball thing is a rotisserie rod that does not look like a Weber issue item. Could be something they saw there and placed it in.
