The tank sits in the hole. The bottom panel seems to be a little heavier gage.Question on the the older Side control E-210 Spirit grills.

Is the propane tank supposed to simply sit in the hole inside the cabinet or is there supposed to be a tanks scale to hold it?
PS it doesn’t come with a scale or mounting holes like other WebersThe tank sits in the hole. The bottom panel seems to be a little heavier gage.
I outboarded the tank on my wife’s 3 burner. I not satisfied. The panel flexs with the tank scale and tank. It needs a reinforcement panel under the scale

I did the same. I used a tank mount panel from the older silver B's. Beefed it right up.The tank sits in the hole. The bottom panel seems to be a little heavier gage.

The three burner I did seemed steady. My neighbor loves it. Says what a lot of charcoal guys say "should've bought a gas grill years ago"Does it seem to be steady with the tank outboarded.
I like the additional space in the cabinet and easy access to the tank valve.Yah, mine is only a two burner. Not sure on the out boarding idea for that.
