I will just leave this here

The new hydraulic came in second to last place for torque which is important for what I use it for. The one I picked up came in first overall and for my use is an easy choice for best option.
The hydraulic one looks really nice and for ordinary use case im sure it would be fantastic and maybe even plenty good for grinding cookboxes. It would probably outperform my 10+ year old XR which has been fantastic.

I was talking to my dad about the tools we use. And he reminded me about this little beast. Last night he came over for dinner and dropped it off. We used to use it for stripping off undercoating and sound deadener on restorations. I can’t believe I forgot about it.

I remember as a kid(we have 7 acres of land) for dinner, mom would ring a big bell that dad put up near the house.
If she just hollered, we would never hear her but we always heard that bell🕛

Supper=🕠

Mark, I always called the evening meal "SUPPER" until I got into the army. Seems it is just an upper midwest thing maybe. Everyone else seems to use "Dinner"

It was always supper growing up. I guess I got refined at some point and started calling it dinner though there was a stint of calling it chow 🤣

Same with pop. Called it pop growing up, now it’s soda.

@Joe Anshien in your opinion do you think this would be a good buy if I can get it for under 1K? I'm leaving on vacation today but when I get back if it's still available I might be interested in putting in an offer. I know you deal with these grills and value can vary from one area to another but I'm just curious your thoughts? I know how much they go for new and this one looks to be in really good condition. Also I assume if I wanted to I could change it over to LP fairly easily?

Also a couple Lynx grills available. 1 for $190 and one for $200 but I'm more hesitant

So while cleaning and prepping my 1000 frame for painting I thought of something while I was wire brushing the welds. I wonder if they make a wire brush for a reciprocating saw (sawzall). Welp, amazon has it for $12.95. It’s scheduled to be here tomorrow. This thing could be a real game changer for how I do things, or it could totally suck. I’ll let you fine folks know how it works!
