I will just leave this here

This is one of my favorite grills. It's in your neighborhood. The price is high but I'm going to put an offer on it when I get back to AZ. Unless for some reason you want it. These are rare and hard to find. They didn't make them for very long.

Nice burgundy lid in AZ. The price is a little high but if burgundy lid was on the top of my list I would offer $100 at least. I bet it's an excellent rust free condition in the desert.

Otherwise there's this $50 two for one special lol. Probably better than it looks

Iowa is not loaded with inventory. Very seldom see anything on Craig's list or on the curb. I don't do facebook so can't say about that. I envy you in all you have to choose from but on the other hand I'm glad I'm not temped by so many choices.

I don't know if I was quick enough to beat Josh to this one --- I responded at the 22 minute mark....
I've been wanting to play with a Q to see how good they are -- $10 seems like a no brainer.

I like that little table! Thanks Josh but I'm good-already have a nice 2 burner. I remember when they came out and I could have had it cheap with wife's discount; also wouldn't use the side burner.

Cody,
Do you have any pics of the inside and outside of the Silver B you got in your trade?

I did a hasty unload and quick look over when I unloaded it earlier this morning in the cover of darkness. The bottom panel appears to have a lot of lighter surface rust, so questionable at best. The frame is a bit worse than I was hoping for, but it has what I think I have seen referred to as a heat shield between the thermoset table and the frame where the cook box bolts. The curved table has some deep gauges in it. But the control panel, grease tray, grease pan and bracket, lid, fold up table, frame ends and cookbox all look promising. As well as the new burners and porcelain coated grates and flavor bars. I will snap some pics when I get home.

Generally, I think that is how Weber fills a lid warranty. THey usually send a complete lid although it may not be the exact color or style as the old one.
The warranty lids are black. I got a few back in the good ole days.

For the silver/gold/platinum genesis black is not an issue and no liner is an upgrade over the stainless lids.

People with the genesis cabinet models with colored doors and matching lids are in a tough spot. Weber will send a functional lid but won’t guarantee a color match for a warranty replacement.

I have four different places I check classified ads and four different places that I list my flips. Up until about halfway through last year Offerup was by far the best and most frequent place for me to buy and sell. With craigslist being the next best. Then about a quarter or a halfway through last year I think because of the advertisements that they added to Offerup it bombed and is barely useful in my area now. I hate Facebook in general but Facebook marketplace is extremely valuable to me now. I still use the others but Facebook marketplace is about 90% of what I buy and sell on. I only use Facebook for marketplace. Other than checking out some Weber's posted.

I see lids for sale all the time near me as well. I'm almost positive that they are warranty replacement lids that the owner was too lazy to put on their grill. I never see them that cheap though, they're always $100.
I see about four available right now between Washington and Arizona and this is the cheapest one at the moment.

For $10 I would pick them up for my rehabs every time! Save me the trouble with the end caps and cleaning the inside of the lid

@Jon Tofte
I'm not in Arizona right now but I would sure be tempted to buy this one if I was.

Maybe in AZ the firebox front and back are still in decent shape. I would like to know about the handle light, because I do not believe that will work on the 1st gen Summit. The light just hits the bottom of the lid because the handle is unusually high on these Summits.
