That plum kettle is interesting, I've never seen one in person. I think they used those handles from about 2000-2011.
Maybe you can get a few extra $$ for the "rare" factor. :)

That SSP cart looks awesome. Is the silver painted or powder coated? The blue badge looks great on it.
Painted with Rustoleum High Heat Ultra. I was unsure if I would like it so I didn't want the big expense of powder. That being said, I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. I bought all stainless hardware to assemble it. So there is a chance that down the road I will have it powdercoated.

I pray I stumble across another free, or super cheap so I wouldnt have any downtime with it. I am not sure how well this silver holds up to cleaning. But I am going to find out

Note, the wheels aren't permanent, just didnt want it sitting on the floor

My CAD$100 650 Summit

Seller said they were selling it because the burners weren't working. They are covered with a 1/4" of crud !

It's absolutely filthy. The grill is like new. The flavor bars are in good (excellent?) condition. The cook box is in very good shape. The smoke box has never been used. The side burner pot ring still has the paint on it.

I'll probably convert it to natgas. Yes, I know about the controls needing to be changed.

I wish it was a 470 instead of a 650. I'm usually just grilling for myself but sometimes I'm doing a brisket or a batch of ribs. Maybe I should clean it up and flip it ?

The Silver you chose looks awesome. Hopefully it holds up.

I’ve had it rolling around in my noggin to eventually do a SSP frame in Rustoleum 7213 Hammered Silver and use gray 8” wheels from a recent Genesis II. Not sure if/when I’ll get around to doing another SSP project since I’m still enjoying grilling on my current SSP that I restored (black frame/copper kettle).

Personally, I wouldn't put anything extra on the truck. But, if you do, use some RTV so you can simply pull it off if you decide you don't like it.

I finally inquired about the lid on this NG pedestal grill. Thy had the inside of it sandblasted because it was flaking 😢
THE LID????????????

They must have read about rehabbers blasting cook boxes and got confused. Oh well, the lid can be replaced if you are still interested in it.

Is it as nice as it looked in the pics?
Decent shape. Of course the bottom pan is toast. The cook box cross member is going to have to be replaced. But the rest of the grill looks relatively good. I am not sure on the lid liner. I didn't see any holes, but there were several spots that looked iffy and after a little grinding, they may open up. I am happy with it overall.
