Ok, not sure what you're referring to then.I mean the insert in the hole of the base. Not like the tank scale.

I100% agree with that.If I had to go out and buy a new grill tomorrow I would still buy a Weber knowing what I know. That being said, they offer nothing that would get me to give up my current grill at any price.
I can’t find a picture of it, but instead of just a hole that the tank sits in, there’s a nylon insert with drain holes that the tank sits in instead of just being right on the metal, like the side controlled SP-300 series were.Ok, not sure what you're referring to then.

How about a link to the ad?Not grill or weber related, but I was thinking about trying to snag this today.....

Its such an obvious scam....
That big chip out of the porcelain would be a total deal breaker for me at any price.Probably a really great price for a "Never used" Simpsons Smokey Joe. However, it if wasn't ever used, it was abused.

I saw that one. If that chip wasn’t there I could see it going for a pretty penny.Probably a really great price for a "Never used" Simpsons Smokey Joe. However, it if wasn't ever used, it was abused.

All the parts where available on Amazon. Super convenient. If you get it and want / need parts let me know and I can send you the links. Be warned that unless you look like your avatar, you will need at least 2 people as it is a really really heavy grill. That's excellent news Joe thank you for sharing! I appreciate it!
The one for sale by me is still available maybe I should reconsider consider it.
