I will just leave this here

The Spirit line is probably Weber’s widest. Ranges from $400 to over $800. Plain 2 burners to 3 burners with sear burner and side burner. Some with colored lids. Some with stainless innards. Different doors and door colors.

I'm sure this isn't anything some of you didn't already know but I thought I would compare for myself to see if I could find any differences.

Weber part number 900 igniter
Weber part number 7509 igniter
Weber Original x000 igniter

Mostly I just wanted to compare the two new ones to see if there was any differences. The original has thinner wire or at least thinner insulation on the wire. The two new ones is what I was most interested in and they seem to be identical. Same wire and same length of wire. Can't find any standout differences.

Could you elaborate on the thin stepped washer, and what it’s used for?
Some X000 grills require them as a top spacer otherwise the igniter sits too low and won’t cycle under the push button. No clicky = no lightly.

It’s embarrassing when a client shows up to purchase or pick up a grill and you’re so smug with confidence in your handiwork that you “just know” everything is good to go. Then you try to test fire it in front of them and wind up looking like some rookie fool. Ask me how I know…

I'm all about buying Weber OEM parts for my grills but just curious have you tried to source just the stepped washer to work with generic ignighter?

I’m sure there’s a solution in those magic drawers at Ace Hardware but I don’t have a sample left to take with me to do the research any more. I’ll have to make it a priority once I get a washer in hand again.
Conical spring washer.

I think that's what they are called

I haven't found any bulk alternatives but I found 2 from Weber available.

Not sure if it's worth it to you
