I will just leave this here

Seems like a better plan might have been to use at least a couple of the interesting colors on the Genesis II line - and now the current model.
I agree. It seems to me people are tiring of the stainless steel craze. I personally think Weber bringing back some of the older, bold colors could revitalize their sales a bit.

Described as used - good condition. I'm not sure I agree.

I’d be Interested to see what is in these boxes. Looks like it has 9mm grates, and a new set in the packaging under the box of a “conversion kit”

Another one with false info "kit to convert it". So sick of these goof balls gonna get someone hurt

Between a solid cabinet floor and two, possibly three sets of grates, there's a lot to like. The SS grates do look like 9mm to boot.

The weird thing is that he says it's set up for natural gas but there's a regulator hanging down in one of the pictures and bumpers in the cabinet wall for a tank.

Ed, I notice the LP regulator/hose too. I thought maybe he started the conversion. But then I notice that it has that piece on the inside right side of the cabinet that is there to make sure people don't put the LP tank in there......So, why would a NG grill have one of those? That grill was clearly born as an LP grill.

That being said, it does look to be a good rehab candidate and with all the extra parts and accessories, it would be a great pickup.

Any of you guys had much luck flipping Spirit's? I have sold two, but didn't go hog wild on rehabbing. Deep clean, a spit shine, and sold. No new burners grates or bars, and did fairly well on them. Curious if it is worth spending anything on the Spirit e310 I have while there are the nice deals on Amazon. It only really need grates and a couple knobs... $25 for burners and bars, $30ish for grates.

I like the front burner Spirits if they are rot free. I only like the ones that don’t need body work.

Parts are available at a reasonable price and they are easy to work on.

The average buyer can easily relate to them as they are similar to what’s sold at Home Depot.

Easy sell and not much work needed equals a good flip candidate

I've only flipped one spirit and I probably won't do another one. Just happened to be that I found two free ones that had all the right parts in all the right places to be able to make one really nice one out of them (like new). Also it was the nicer style with the stainless handle not the plastic. Sold for $250 and didn't take me much time or effort so I would say it was worth it but most I would pass on even if they are free.

I've only touched one spirit, a two burner side control. It was free and nearby. In the pic it was covered and I thought it was a side control genesis 300 and was surprised when i pulled the cover off :( The family was moving out that day and needed it gone so I took it.

I cleaned it up, fixed the igniter and gave it away but the couple I gave it to moved a few months later and wanted to return it. I posted it for sale for a while for about $25 and had no bites. I eventually gave it to a friend's son to use in their shop.
