I couldn't resist...

I was messaging with @Josh Dekubber about possibly breaking down a Junior I bought in Phoenix so the UPS Store could pick it up and ship it to me. Josh said if I was willing to spend that much for shipping I should take a look at a black Junior he saw on eBay. It was all original… pristine… unused. I couldn’t resist.

Josh is an enabler of the highest order!! 🤣
Love that guy!!

That is a very nice Score and I may end up kicking myself for not getting it myself but I'm very happy for you! We will most likely never see another all original unused Junior like this! I hope shipping goes well. eBay is fantastic to work with if you have any problems. I've had to request action from eBay a couple times and they have been great.
I'm glad you passed and graciously shared it with me. I'll keep you posted.

Those definitely don't come around very often, or ever really. I don't know that I could bring myself to use it though, it will never be new again if you even cook on it once. Anyways, congratulations! I still have my own delusion of someday finding a brand new Genesis 1000 that I could just look at.
I will cook on my other Juniors, but likely never cook on this one. I feel it is a unicorn of unicorns.

I would bet you would have to break a grill down into two or three separate packages to make it anywhere near cost effective to ship it.
I'll never find another in that condition. They don't exist. Juniors are a rare beast and don't pop up in my area near the Texas coast. So rare that I am willing to foot the shipping cost just to be able to have the privilege of ownership. Some (most) would think it crazy to spend that much; but I plan to have them not only for life, but as legacy grills I will pass down to my children and hopefully their children to follow. Gifts I pray will remind them of the love that went in to all the food I have grilled for them throughout their lives. That they will take a moment to remember... and smile.
