Current post on CL $40.00, not sure I can pass this up....certain that my wife won't expect another grill showing up.

James - just my opinion, but I wouldn't pay more than $25 for an OTS unless it was unused. I know Targets around Charlotte will be selling them new for $55-$65 on clearance in Sept / Oct.

They'll start clearancing at those prices, then quickly drop as the Christmas shopping season approaches. A couple years ago I got two OTSs for $48 each NIB from Target. Unless a few bucks doesn't matter or you don't want to wait until the late summer-early fall clearance sales, you will find better deals.

It's not a OTS, it's an old "three wheeler". I sold my OTS (bought at a yard sale for $25 - looked brand new) and kept my three wheeler - I prefer the control. Since you won't find these new, it might be worth the $40 if you think you'll like it.

Handles are wood, and it's pre-2000 date wise. Hope this helps...

Also, the chances of finding one of these NIB is extremely remote - it would be private party, probably E-bay.

If you can get it for no more than 25 it will be great... Other wise wait a little maybe something better will show up.

Good eyes guys...did not see the shadow in the ash pan, but yes it is a three wheeler. At $40, I'd prob like some more detail on the condition, but that's just me. Now if it were other than black...that'd be different. If you are just in need of another kettle (and who doesn't need another kettle?), then wait for better deal.

I think I just saw one of those on our CL for 25 bucks! hard to see the bottom but it does have wooden handles.
