Hi there - apologies in advance if there are other threads that cover this ad nauseam, I did a search and found nothing. I'm getting ready to build a grill surround island and will be removing the side shelves from my Genesis 1 S-330. This would include the right shelf, which is a burner. removing the shelf and burner should be pretty straight-forward, wondering if anyone has done this and if so, how did you cap the gas line that runs to the side-burner? Pics are of the side burner from the top & underneath, and the braided gas line running from side burner to main compartment of grill box, and then an image of aftermarket manifold (which I'm guessing sits underneath the front panel where the control knobs sit).
