So I was going to do Steaks tonight for me and the CEO, but it is pouring and blowing sideways. I decided to do a soup I had planned for tomorrow so with your indulgence.

Ingredients lined up, the Lentils , the small Red Beans have been soaking for hours and then boiled for awhile and set aside

Onions in until softened and then the garlic

Then the standard French Miropoix, celery, carrots added to the onions, then shrooms, beans and Lentils, some diced Ham left over from Thanksgiving, chicken broth and twice the amount of water

The seasonings, Savory, fresh ground, kosher, Sage and some crushed red pepper. Oh, I added some fresh Dill also. And some Bay Leaves

Time to sit back and relax

Three hours later

On the table, it's not Weber done but it is good and thought I would share

That looks so good, Bill. Perfect for the weather you're having. I could sure down a bowl or two of that, and half a loaf of that bread. Great job.

That's one great looking bowl of soup Bill, nothing wrong with giving the Weber the night off because of bad weather. I'll be doing the same tonight, big storm coming through California today and hitting us this evening, so it's turkey soup tonight.

Great looking soup and just right for a cold raining night. Adding that bread everything looks so yummy! Great job Bill as always.

Great looking pot! We've got something similar in the fridge right now.

You put mushrooms and potatoes in there. Nice additions that aren't in ours.
