Hi folks, I have some kingsford regular I found buried in the garage. I think it's about 2 years old, do you think it's still good to use? It's never been opened.

fire it up... if the bag was never wet, it should be good.
I'm still using charcoal I bought last year's July 4th sale.

It'll last until your teenage son takes it for his BBQ parties they have while out in the sticks

IF it's sitting on the concrete floor, it will absorb moisture. If so, just spread it out in the sun and let it dry. Should be ok.

Okay guys will use this weekend, it was actually on a laminate floor piece in the garage. If all else fails, I have a reason to go buy more lol.

Since the topic came up, I have a pile in the garage that's three or four years old...stupid good sale and moment of weakness. No ill effects.

Yesterday's cook turned out great. Glad I did not throw away that charcoal. thanks a lot guys.
