A couple of weeks ago, I started a thread showing my homemade bratwurst.

I finally got around to grilling some and wanted to share the pic's. I made a potato salad and smoked some ABT's to side it up. Here's the pic's.
Quick shot of my salad. Whipped this up in the AM.

Got the ABT's put together.

On the WSM.

Got the brats on the grill.

Brought them up to around 160 or so and pulled.

Put them back on the grill in a bath of 4 bottles of Beck's Sapphire beer, one chopped onion, 4 cloves chopped garlic, red pepper flakes and one Bay leaf. Simmered brats for one hour.

Meanwhile ABT's got finished up.


Pulled brats and started the build on toasted buns, Spicy mustard and onions from the bath.

Finished the topping with this.
