What better way to spend a sunday than by smoking a brisket? I used the HH method located in the cooking section of TVWBB.

I used three chunks of apple wood and two of hickory.

While the brisket cooked I warmed up some pintos I cooked the day before. The beans were soaked overnight then cooked with bacon, onion, garlic, and jalapeno juice untill soft and mashed.

Once the brisket hit 170 I foiled it and put it on till tender. Once done I placed the brisket back on the smoker to try to firm up the bark.

Brisket turned out great nice in moist and some bark was there. I enjoyed a plate while the dogs looked on.
