Hi, I know some of you don't mind grilling 12 months a year, but the rest of you, what are your favorite month/months to grill?

Four years ago we had ten grills and smokers. Then came the April to late September charcoal ban each year because of the fire danger.
Prior to that we grilled almost every day in the late spring till late October.
Now we have two gassers a performer and a pellet grill. We use the gassers sporadically in the summer mostly to keep the heat out of the house.
The performer gets used maybe a couple of times in the late fall.
Due to my meds I won't cook outside when the temperature drops below 50 or so I can't tolerate the cold even If I bundle up within 20 minuets or so I'm just miserable and it takes me hours to warm up again.
So to answer your question when I can grill I can't use charcoal and there is only so much you can cook on a gasser, so we really don't have a favorite time anymore.

Grilling and bbq’ing year around but primarily late March to late October and Thanksgiving and Christmas. Winter months are usually low and slow so I don’t have to be outside to monitor temps. That’s what remote thermometers are for.

so long as it's 50F or higher, i can grill, comfortably. i have grilled in colder weather and rain, but neither are fun. so that makes me a mid Feb through mid Dec griller. favorite months to grill would be March through May and Sept through mid-Dec. We grill in the summer but summer days can easily be 100+F and that means grilling after 6 or 7p to avoid the super hot part of the day which is around 5P.

I don’t have a particular month or season.
I go year round near the Canadian border and the East Bay in Cali.
The only thing that stops my cook plans is heavy rain.
Drizzle and chilly temps don’t bother me.
We have even cooked in the snow.
Gonna have to get me some kind of overhang one of these days.

Thought this was a Spring Training thread!!

I live in CA, we don't have seasons. I grill whenever the heck I want (usually 3-7 times a week.) :)
hahahaha. we have the rainy season and the sunny season. both of which have their extremes; too much rain or too much heat.

i think we grill on average 3 times a week, around 150 days a year on average. summer grilling is a little bit more so we don't heat the house up and it's nicer to be outside enjoying the sun and evening weather (Sacramento region).

March through October for us in KC on a consistent basis and sporadically the other months based on the weather.
