Mark Have you found some wide white walls yet for those Wheels?
My biggest downfall has always been to lose patience and try to rush the results of anything that I was doing, often to a bad result. I have gotten a lot better over the years but will still fall victim to it, as in the case of a 100 year old mantle clock that I had handed down to me. It didn't run when I got it, but over the course of a month or so I got it to work again for well over a year. When it started acting up recently I tried to make adjustments to it but in the process did some damage to it that only a professional can undo at this point.I can appreciate that and relate. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. I'm never in a hurry when it comes to stuff like this. I'll work at it until I'm satisfied even start over if I have to. I can always expect nice work out of you Steve and I'm excited to see your next restoration project.
I should get my one white wall Tuesday or Wednesday from the guy in Canada.Mark Have you found some wide white walls yet for those Wheels?
The phrase "I know just enough to be dangerous" has definitely been an accurate description of me over the years. All anyone can do is strive to be a better version of themselves than they started out with. It's good that you can recognize that in yourself and can make corrections. A lot of people are not able to do that and they will never get a better end result because of it.
Ok, so all the usual suspects. Nice.Thank you, they look great in person

So the 2X? I always use the ultra on the frames, 2X on other parts like the tank scale.I think I used the frame paint.
The 2X and the high heat ultra have pretty much an identical finish. The 2X is cheaper so it's perfect for parts that aren't subjected to heat. The 2X is a satin, I think.
