Here is my 2025 grill that i will be restoring, Genesis 1

I can appreciate that and relate. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. I'm never in a hurry when it comes to stuff like this. I'll work at it until I'm satisfied even start over if I have to. I can always expect nice work out of you Steve and I'm excited to see your next restoration project.
My biggest downfall has always been to lose patience and try to rush the results of anything that I was doing, often to a bad result. I have gotten a lot better over the years but will still fall victim to it, as in the case of a 100 year old mantle clock that I had handed down to me. It didn't run when I got it, but over the course of a month or so I got it to work again for well over a year. When it started acting up recently I tried to make adjustments to it but in the process did some damage to it that only a professional can undo at this point.

It's good that you can recognize that in yourself and can make corrections. A lot of people are not able to do that and they will never get a better end result because of it.
The phrase "I know just enough to be dangerous" has definitely been an accurate description of me over the years. All anyone can do is strive to be a better version of themselves than they started out with.

I find the 2X paints to be easy to work with. They are different from standard rattle cans in that they do throw out more paint, but they spray in a consistent pattern and cover very well. I think the trick is to not feel like you need to go real slow or overlap a lot to get good coverage unlike a lot of regular rattle can paints. I can adequately spray an entire Silver B frame in about 5 minutes with that stuff.
