Hi folks. I've recently caught the Weber restoration bug - been lurking here for a little while, got a lot of good advice already!

Grew up with a Weber kettle in the backyard like so many families. Mostly a gasser these days though, for the convenience factor.

Current project is a Genesis Platinum C. A few mods on this one - open cart, side burner delete, and a wheel upgrade on the cart I need to write up a post on)
 
Welcome aboard. Make sure to post some pics of your rehab. Also, keep an eye out for a kettle you can restore. Doing that much work on a charcoal kettle has a tendency to ensure you cook on it. Lots of good info here as well as over on the WKC site (sorry Chris).
