Hello fellow Barbecue Addicts!!
Like many folks, I have been lurking on this site for a while now. I started grilling with my father when I was kid and have fond memories of our old Weber kettle. I remember Dad stacking up the charcoals in a pyramid and then squirting the "tasty" lighter fluid all over creating a quick burst of flames. Then propane/gas grills became available and my time with Weber ended temporarily. For 23+ years I was using a gasser and got pretty good at delivering what I thought was good food. But one night after a few cocktails I got the "craving" to go back to my roots and buy a Weber. So I am the proud owner of a Weber 22" OTG and a 18.5" WSM. I grill and barbecue year round and have been inspired by this website to incorporate even more grilling in our daily lives. Many of you have CI skillets and I have just started using them on my kettle -- falling in love with CI. Nothing like cooking with fire -- it is an addiction and I don't intend to goto rehab Ha! I intend on posting some photos once I figure out how to use Photobucket. Look forward to sharing my cooks with all of you as I have enjoyed reading all of your posts. What a great website and I have already shared this site with many friends and family!
