Hello From Lee's Summit

Hi all- My name is Matt. I grew up in Racine, WI, but live in Lee's Summit, MO just outside Kansas City, MO. I have owned a classic Weber kettle for nearly 15 years and that's all I knew growing up. About 10 years ago, I got interested in barbecuing and bought a Traeger as that was what a number of my family members had. Several years ago, I decided I wanted to go back to charcoal and about a year ago finally was able to swing a Weber Smokey Mountain. I've loved it ever since. I still use my kettle for grilling and my Traeger for outdoor cooking but I only use my WSM for barbecuing. I've spent a fair amount of time reading up here and I continue to learn the art. Glad to be here and look forward to learning more!
