Heat wave repreive allowed me to fire up the oven

So we get desert! Lemon poppy seed pound cake with a fresh from our garden raspberry glaze. The recipe I used is from the New York Times cooking site.

I was pretty close to using the DO! One more day of heat and I would've!

I looked into making my own charcaol many moons ago. Decided store bought was the way to go for me!
