Howdy folks...here's how my turkey day went!

First off a couple 10 lb birds ready for heat...dark one was brined in the apple brine and air dryed!

Smoker coming up to temp...

Brined bird up!

Getting color!

Added some sweet taters about an hour later!

Oven bird done.

Smoked turkey done!! Best looking turkey I have made yet!

And a happy plate full of all the fixing!!

And a happy camper!

Happy thanks giving!! Hope All your cooks came out great and spent quality time with family!

Thanks for the great replys folk! Sorry for the lack of description on this post...was a long day of cooking and way too many adult beverages!

Jim the turkey was probably one of my best tasting birds..super moist and full of flavor! Ya Ollie's bowls are always empty...actually one is our black lab's that past this summer and we have not been able to put it away yet.
