Hanging Chicken on the Weber Adjustable Rack

I have the Weber adjustable rack and am wanting to cook a chicken PBC style using the rack to hang it. The hooks that came with the rack don't look like they would support a chicken to well. Has anyone used the rack and its hooks to hang a chicken? Are there some other hooks that would better support the weight of a chicken?

Fish hooks?
use the hooks you have.
insert the hook thru the bottom to the top on the bird.
when cooked thru, cut the bird open to remove the hook

I apologize Jim, i think I worded my question incorrectly. What I meant to ask was if you recommend hanging it whole or splitting it in half?

I hang chickens all the time - or I should say 1/2 chickens.
I bought some hooks from PBC. They are pricey, but heavy duty.
You could make your own, I suppose.
At any rate... put the hook through the chicken breast from the back & under a wing.
