not on too long, then a short rest before slicing on the bias...

this dinner was served with angel hair pasta with crushed red pepper, olive oil, gaaaalic, basil & flat leaf parsley.

and if that wasn't enough, sautéed patty pan squash & roasted tomatoes with garden peppers were included.
This was most likely the finest meal Liz & I threw together... spur-of-the-moment kinda thing, ya know...?
Hope the photos justify the taste...

And I Thank You All For Your Time, It Is Greatly Appreciated!

That hanger steak looks great and they way you plated is absolutely perfect!
I need to learn how to add color to my dishes like you do it.

Nice work Jim...sometimes those "spur of the moment meals" come out the best!! I love the angel hair pasta idea...we have been using penne noodles quite a bit but I may have I trade up!

All looks great!

I think hanger steak is one of the best-kept secrets around. Best bang for the buck in the meat department. The dinner looks fantastic -- roasted veggies are incredible.

Same weather here, doesnt stop me, better than firin up the oven , I'll take this weather over freezing cold anytime!

Nice hangers!

Jim...nice cook in this crazy hot weather! It can cool down a bit anyway now...oh yeah we could use some rain too!

Nice cook Jim....you and Maddie do like the hanger steak. Nicely done and great pictures. Hey....is that a new truck?
