I've had one of these installed since I remodeled our kitchen in 2021. Just bought another for our beach house. It's handy and it works.
I would routinely overfill the puny little bottle and clean up the mess afterwards and also had the neck of one of the plastic bottles break. A big jug of Dawn lasts almost a year for us.

Yep, these are great. Much easier to switch out the jug of soap than to try to fill the small reservoir via the neck protruding above the counter! With a Costco soap jug, 2-3 times a year max! :)

I saw the kit a few years ago on the shelf at a box store and said "wait a sec...." yeah, this is worth a try.
