A group of my best friends rent a house on the Corrotoman River every Spring to get away. I do most of the cooking. Here's (most of) the food in pictures.
Our view for the weekend.
It was supposed to (and did) rain most of the weekend so I brought the pop up shelter for the outdoor kitchen (the square grill was part of the rental house. I thought I was going to use it for warming stuff but only used it to hold hot chimneys and such).
View from the "kitchen".
Friday night; American Chop Suey (the picture quality goes down dramatically in proportion to the loss of daylight and ingestion of vodka).
Saturday morning, mojo marinated pork roast for lunch.
Off.
Sliced.
Turned into Cuban Sandwiches.
And grilled.
Potatoes for dinner.
Skirt steaks, garlic bread and some fire wired onions.
On.
...and then the moonshine came out and that was the last picture taken.
From my recollection and the comments from the diners it was a great dinner.
Thanks for looking!
