Guess what?

@ Rodolfo: I might call and see about buying one. I registered the serial number with Weber. If get a new one, I guess it will be a different number.

OK, I give. What did happen to your lid? A few years ago I was bbqing in my driveway. It was a rainy day so I had partially put the grill halfway into the garage to keep water from getting through the vent. Later in the day, well after the cook, a piece of hardware broke in the garage door opener. The door was an older wooden door and weighed a ton. It crashed down on my 22 1/2 Silver. I had a lid that looked something like yours after that.

I was in a cook-off and in the process of rotating the meat. My teammate was helping and he placed the lid on his BW. Well, the lid fell off and landed on grass. You can see what happened.... Prob not gonna try to bend back, I dont wanna end up snapping the thing off. Its still functional.

Bummer....am I the only one that doesn't know what a "BW" is? I'm just a backyard guy.
