Visited the Milwaukee Public Market last Sunday and bought some brats and Italians from the folks at Nehring
Bacon and onion brats on the left... mild Italian sausage on the right (hunks of Lampe Bacon next to the Italians)
also, a few more cherry peppers stuffed with prosciutto and provolone...
using the 18" Avocado green three-wheeler...
everything was tossed on the grate over a very hot fire.
bacon chunks started to shrink... and burn...
removed the bacon from the heat...
circled the peppers until the sausage was cooked
served up with doctored up bacon baked beans
now i had one bacon & onion brat and one Italian...
...with nothing else butt a slice of havarti cheese under each.
Both were very good. Nothing SUPERoutstanding about the taste, butt I would certainly buy them again.
We also bought a couple of Feta & Spinach Chicken brats. Those are cozy in the freezer for another day.
Thanks for stoppin', Solong!
