Grilled cheese???

Wife made chili and wanted grilled cheese with it, so I obliged.

Had some charcoal left in the mini, so I moved the entire grate/ring I assembled to the Blue SS w/ a chunk of hickory

Now you're talkin. And yes, that's the CI I fried the bacon in. And no, I didn't wipe it out first.

Yeah, that'll be warm enough. Thermometer directly above the coals. Luckily, it took the sammiches longer than I thought so they picked up some smoke flavor.
