Granulated Garlic?

Whether you're smoking, grilling or griddling, the consensus seems to be to use granulated garlic as opposed to garlic powder. I have searched high and low, but have not found anything labeled "granulated" other than bulk containers that I would not use in my lifetime! Is there such a thing sold in our normal grocery stores?

Costco sells granulated garlic. Garlic powder is a dust with an anti-caking agent and is diluted in flavor.

You can also buy dehydrated minced garlic, put some in hot water and let it rehydrate and then use it in your recipes.

Granulated garlic is a staple in my spice cabinet.

Badia brand has a 6 oz. labeled "Roasted Garlic" "Ajo Asado" that I think I got at Walmart. It doesn't say granulated on the front but the back label does.

I usually buy mine at Aldi. It is for some reason labeled garlic powder. It's definitely granulated though, it's pretty easy to tell the difference.
