Ordered some Mauls, got it late last night.

Picked up some 3/4 in. rib chops today. Seasoned up real nice, with Cracked pepper, Cabellas Baby back rub & Maple smokehouse rub.

On to the grill.

seared both sides before putting into bath
into the bath with some sliced onions & green pepper, used Mauls regular BBq sauce.

Let simmer on the grill for about 45 mins while the potato finished out.

Here we are plated up and ready to munch. The Mauls is very mellow & nice flavored BBq sauce.
Thanks to Mr.Lampe for telling us about the Mauls sauce.

I like the "bath" you gave those chops.
My buddy Paul K. gifted me some and it's good stuff.

Excellent cook Russ! Plated meal looks awesome, I'll take one please. Maulls I will have to look for that.

Look good!! How is the Maull's sauce? Is it comparable to any other brand?

No there is nothing that comes close. It has been a St. Louis tradition forever. What I like about the sauce is you can taste it and say hmm needs a kick and put some hot sauce in it. Or if sweet is your deal put some more sugar in it. I myself like to put Worchestershire sauce, some tobasco. Makes a different color and taste.

Al... I was just thinking that as well. I checked Amazon (always my first thought)... They have some, listed... One huge bottle for $30 on Prime.... But the company has their own website as well.

Prices seem cheap enough, but shipping was a little steep. Six pack of 24 oz bottles (mix&match flavors), is only $12.50.. Shipping would be $16-something, so $28-ish delivered. I'm near Kansas City, so might have it in stores around here (company is In St Louis). Where should I look retail? Figure I'll order some online if I can't find locally.

I have not yet heard of Maull's before reading this post, but I'm definitely going to seek some out! Nice pics of the cook, Russ.

Thanks for sharing!
