I’d be really happy with that. Looks great, Josh!
Hey Josh, went to HD and picked up a set of those Ryobi wire drill brushes last night. They work great! Using a beat up drill but getting the job done. Thanks for the tip! Looking forward to seeing how the wood on your Jr. turns out!Yes it works great!

The speed and torque of a high-quality impact gun makes a big difference for me though also.
Handle looks beautiful! So I'm working on the handle for the junior. My first attempt not perfect but a success in my mind. The biggest success is that my measurements and figures for bits to order for my plunger router worked perfectly and we're exactly the sizes I needed and wanted. This first handle is not perfect and I didn't think it would be. The slots don't line up perfectly if you site down it but I know what I did wrong and how to fix it a couple different ways. I may just try this makeshift jig on one more handle and if I can get it to work perfectly then I will continue to use it otherwise I will build a proper jig on a table. I'm going to start my second handle now wish me luck.

YesDo you use the crafted accessories?
They are so close seems to me your good with either one of them. I kind of take these best of clear winner things with a grain of salt but they are still helpful. For sure!
I'm not sure how it compares to Total Boat marine spar varnish. That's the one I used.
Man the time goes by so quickly will be 72 in October.Yes, Brian that is absolutely true. I remember taking your advice and ordering it. That must have been 6 or 7 years ago!
Trailing right behind you. I got my Medicare card back in AprilMan the time goes by so quickly will be 72 in October.![]()
Hank where in Cape Cod used to live in Falmouth, my sister and brother have summer homes in Great Harbors in East Falmouth which is where I lived. Moved to ATL in 1996 couldn't take the weather my Mother used to say you were born in the wrong part of the country.I will be 89 in two days, way ahead of both of you.....
I am actually enjoying 4-season weather after spending most of my life in Florida. I admit I still cringe at January and February, and now I understand better why we had so many "snowbirds" in Florida during those months! But I love spring and fall and don't even mind temps in the 20s and 30s anymore.Hank where in Cape Cod used to live in Falmouth, my sister and brother have summer homes in Great Harbors in East Falmouth which is where I lived. Thanks Val! It is super solid and heavy. It actually wasn't difficult. I invested in some quality carbide tip router bits. I have been investing in better tools which is helping to make things easier.Wow! That's a really beautiful handle! I know it must have been difficult with that dense wood but you really got it perfect! The grain looks spectacular, I bet it feels really solid.
Thank you Steve! I'm very happy with itNice job, better than the original!
