I really love the refinished original wood on the other Jr. But the IPE Ironwood "Brazilian Walnut" for this new one is going to be exciting!Josh,
I am trying to imagine how you are going to take your new one "up a notch!"![]()
Thanks Val! I helped my friend Bob clean up his Silver A and I can see why you like it. I do like a nice 2 burner. Another 2 burner I like is my Genesis LX 240. The old classic Genesis are King but my LX 240 is a good 2 burner also. That grill is way cool looking. Beautiful work. I have a Silver A and really like the simplicity and the results of two burner cooking. But that Jr. takes it up a few notches! Thanks for sharing.
Here's mine, I still have work to do on it but it was in pretty good shape when I bought it in June. I just polished up the lid and control panel, put in a new igniter,Thanks Val! Thanks Val. I'm excited to do the wood work.Wow!!! Looking great Josh! I love the front igniter. Looks like kind of a James Bond device button that Q would have installed. I've never seen that type of wheel either - looks like you got some "low pro" street performance tires on that rig!
I'm sure it's going to come out as great as the rest of the grill. Looking forward to seeing the woodwork. Did you decide on a stain or varnish? I'm making a replacement handle for a B that broke out of a piece of Poplar I got at Home Depot. Thinking of simple Rustoleum Spar Varnish but never have done much wood finishing. Thanks Val. I'm excited to do the wood work.
I prefer General finish exterior 450 top coat. It's an excellent product. I like it better than spar.I'm sure it's going to come out as great as the rest of the grill. Cool, I would definitely like to see the before and after on that job.Newer Spirit 200 warming rack can be easily customized to fit.
Getting closer all the time. The white walls are in rough shape and they don't stay on so definitely looking forward to ones from you.
Okay no problem.Cool, I would definitely like to see the before and after on that job.
Perfect! Looking forward to them.Getting closer all the time

Checking in for a pre-order!Unless I run into any unforseen problems, you should have them by then.
