Genesis Jr Restoration


 
I'd have a hard time getting myself to cook a burger on my green lid 1000 LX grill and it's just a regular green lid not a one of a kind gem like Steve's Grill. For a Green Platinum lid I'd do it though.

Paul Warner had a beautiful Platinum green lid he would sell/ship to me. Not sure if he still has it though. Also an immaculate black lid Jr.

Id easily pay $100!!
I'd have to think about paying more. So far I've been able to find everything that I've been looking for within a reasonable amount of time.

But watching the video of it it looks like there's a ding in the upper middle front. When he pans across the front and the Sun hits it it looks like something. Looks like a dent but it could be nothing.

That is strange. Nice catch on the video, but the photos are all clean, even if you blow them up a little.

I am not sure, but the photos would have been easy to doctor a little.

I did that, with IPE. $250 each one-time charge for creating the silkscreens, you supply the artwork, $75 per panel to apply them (2 panels on a Series I). $150 to sandblast a red lid and make it blue, $150 for the blue porcelain (I might be confused about that...it may be $150 to sandblast and coat combined). $100 to ship it each way. It can get expensive for something cosmetic, and I don't think you can reasonably...

There also appears to be some porcelain missing just to the right of the Weber badge as the pinstripe seems to be missing on one of the lines.
